Ang Beng Siong is the Chief Executive Officer where he sets the company’s strategic focus and growth agenda. A seasoned aviation and logistics leader, he is equally recognized for his creativity in sales and marketing—turning complex challenges into innovative campaigns that deliver measurable results.
During more than 20 years at Singapore Airlines, Mr. Ang served as General Manager in 10 countries, spearheading new market entries and developing commercial strategies that expanded the airline’s global reach. He combined operational leadership with marketing insight, tailoring approaches to each region while ensuring consistent growth. He was also a driving force behind the establishment of SIA Cargo’s Shanghai hub, strengthening Asia’s role in international trade flows.
His creativity was most visible following the 2000 Bali bombing, when he led the design and global promotion of the “Enchanting Bali” recovery package. By blending strategic partnerships with compelling marketing, he helped restore international confidence in Bali as a safe and attractive destination. The initiative not only won the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) award but became a model of how innovative campaigns can revitalize markets after crisis.
Mr. Ang carried this commercial mindset into his role as Chief Strategy Officer at GallopAir, where he not only oversaw regulatory and compliance milestones but also shaped the airline’s market positioning to attract customers and partners during its early development.
Now as CEO of Mahyu.com, Mr. Ang is applying the same creativity and strategic drive to build a digital platform that transforms global logistics and trade. His vision combines technology, sustainability, and market innovation, ensuring the platform delivers value through greater efficiency, lower costs, and new revenue opportunities. By blending his operational expertise with a marketer’s instinct, he positions Mahyu.com to capture growth in the fast-expanding digital trade ecosystem.
Mr. Ang holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Aviation from the University of Singapore. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his ability to connect strategy with storytelling, and execution with commercial outcomes—qualities that continue to guide Mahyu.com as it grows into a trusted partner for global trade and logistics.
