About Us
Mahyu is a company with expertise in both logistics and technology, was established with a clear focus on developing a platform business model within the logistics industry. Our innovative platform business model aims to revolutionize traditional logistics method – from offline, human-operated procedures and paperwork to an “online system driven by set of algorithms and digitized information format”.
In the logistics industry, companies across different countries provide nearly identical services with similar pricing schemes, leading customers to shop around. The conventional practice of waiting for days to get responses to inquiries complicates the end-user’s supply chain system. Companies utilizing Mahyu’s platform technology can distinguish themselves from competitors. By speeding up business processes and minimizing human intervention, these companies can effectively to meet the dynamic demands of domestic and global business environment.
Utilizing my skill and experience in both technology and logistics, I started an integration set of algorithms into logistics services and its functions, administration and customer services. The system is meticulously designed in a modular fashion, tailored to specific geographical locations and individual user identities. This means that each activated service seamlessly connects to predictive operational functions and administrative data. The algorithm is configured with specific categorizations for the services of each transporter/forwarder, ensuring adaptability to their capabilities and facilitating expansion into different countries.
As we are all aware, the process of developing an application is continual and responsive to advancements in telecommunication and hardware technology. Similarly, Mahyu’s initial plan was to concentrate on the development of domestic and international services. Yet, as the development journey unfolded, we recognized our expanding capabilities, culminating in the creation of a comprehensive, integrated logistics solution. We, at that times were challenged by the Covid-19 pandemic. Eventually, we successfully concluded the entire logistics ecosystem, encompassing domestic and international air transport, eCommerce logistics, and warehouse facility management.
Our aim was to position the platform as an integral component of global trade tools. We had successfully transformed each logistics function into an autonomous process, eliminating the need for human intervention. Anticipated issues are promptly addressed with real-time solutions, and every aspect of logistics administration is automatically generated in digital formats. This includes the entire journey from the initial warehousing process at the origin to the transportation mode and arrival at the destination warehouse, with operations, administration, and status efficiently configured in real time.
In the dynamic digital landscape, Mahyu’s logistics platform stands as a sustainable force, poised to reshape and redefine the industry and its interconnected network. Our comprehensive strategy emphasizes real-time collaboration and cooperation, creating a harmonious ecosystem for both shippers and transporters. This synergy allows each transporter to leverage their strengths collectively, fostering a healthy business environment. Shippers, in turn, reap the rewards of improved service quality and transparent business transaction structures.
The business landscape has undergone significant transformation in the last twenty plus years since I developed Zipcomm with Mediapoint. During that period, I developed data and fax software capable of converting paper documents into digital formats and transmitting them instantly to other users using dial-up internet connection which became a champion. In stark contrast, today’s business predominantly runs on internet cloud technology which connect instantly to your devices and manage real-time updating data, communication and virtual transaction. Modern internet technology has provided greater flexibility and accessibility for users without geographical and time zone boundaries.
Mahyu, being a technology company with skills in both logistics and technology, believes that the key to ensuring competitive edge is to leverage advanced algorithms that deliver more value than human capabilities. Computation and telecommunication have integrated into one effective infrastructure, companies become vulnerable if they remain stagnant, not doing anything. Logistics industry and its workforces need to build, to adapt and know how to operate basic technology foundation, an absolute minimum requirement to remain competitive in the Global Digital Economic.
